Reports in Italy are suggesting that Francesco Totti has been criticised by Roma boss Aurelio Andreazzoli for the penalty fiasco at Sampdoria on Sunday.
Roma were awarded a spot-kick at Marassi at the weekend, but Pablo Daniel Osvaldo decided that he’d take responsibility. He subsequently missed.
Although the Argentine-born Italian international has been reprimanded by club officials for his actions, Totti hasn’t been left blameless.
Speculation suggests that Andreazzoli took Totti to one side on Tuesday where he told him that he should have demanded to take the penalty.
