Lazio defender Stefan Radu has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2015.
The Romania international agreed the deal a couple of weeks ago and waited for it to be ratified.
Radu joined Lazio from Dinamo Bucharest in 2008 and has become a fixture in the side.
Earlier this week, Lazio boss Edy Reja gave his reaction to Radu's commitment.
"It means the club are working to build a great team again. I hope Lazio experience the same emotions that they went through in the past."
Radu had attracted interest from English champions Chelsea.
