Fiorentina will only make a decision on the future of Stevan Jovetic once the present campaign has come to an end.
The Montenegrin international is the club’s most prized asset and is on the wish-lists of a number of Europe’s giants.
“We’re talking to his agent at the moment with great serenity,” the official stated on Thursday afternoon.
“We’ll have to see what happens between now and the end of the season. It depends on where we finish in the table, our targets for the future and other things.”
The 23-year-old has scored nine goals in 19 League games this term, but he has struggled to perform in recent weeks.
“Jovetic is not a problem for us,” the ex-Roma director continued. “He’s a really strong player, but he’s just suffering a dip like anyone else.”
Jo-Jo, linked with Juventus, Arsenal and Manchester City, has scored just once in his last six matches.
