Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that Stephan El Shaarawy will not play against Parma tomorrow evening.
The Rossoneri host Roberto Donadoni's men on Friday, and the 45-year-old Coach has revealed that the Italian youngster will miss the match, whilst also commenting on the threat posed by the Crociati.
“El Shaarawy has inflammation in one of his knee tendons so we have decided to hold him back for the Barcelona game next Wednesday.
“Parma are a very organised team and have some quality individuals. It's going to be a tough match, that's for sure.
“It's an important match for us because we want to improve our position in the League. Tomorrow's going to be a big challenge.
“It's vital that we win.”
He also remarked on Mario Balotelli's behaviour since he's been at the club and his own future with the San Siro side.
“I am satisfied with what Mario is giving us on the pitch. But, he has the possibility of becoming a world class player – if he devotes himself to football.
“I hope he takes my advice.
“I have never had any doubts that I'll be here next season,” Allegri added. “I have an agreement with the President and Galliani – this team has been rebuilt in a short space of time so we have to carry on with this project as it is.”
