Napoli will wear black armbands in their game against Sampdoria on Sunday following the death of former player Carmelo Imbriani.
The 37-year-old lost his battle against illness in the early hours of the morning after falling into an irreversible coma.
Imbriani, who also played for Genoa amongst other clubs, had been battling against lymphoma – a type of blood cancer.
The former Benevento boss was diagnosed with the condition in August.
