Catania midfielder Lucas Castro has revealed that the club are aiming for a place in European competition next season.
The Elefanti currently sit in 7th place in Serie A, four points off of Inter in fifth.
And the Argentine winger has admitted that the team should be aiming for a top six finish.
“It's important for us to reach Europe next season,” he told a Press conference. “Every player wants to play at the highest level possibly.
“We're doing fine at the moment, but I don't want to say anything just in case I jinx it!
“We have reached a point in the season where we can see the finish line, but we know we must do more.
“The goal is to go as far as possible and to pursue as high a position as possible.”
