Franck Ribery is a fan of Italy and the game on the peninsula, but he has no desire to leave Bayern Munich.
The 29-year-old has been linked with Serie A sides in the past, yet the French international has committed his future to his current club.
“I like your country,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “I also like your clubs, but my desire is to remain in Germany.”
The attacker was talking to the Italian media after Bayern’s impressive 3-1 Champions League win at Arsenal.
“We’re happy with the victory,” the former Marseille man noted. “It’s never easy to score three goals away from home.
“Perhaps there is too much talk about the future and the arrival of Pep Guardiola in the summer, but we’re doing well.”
