The in-demand Andrea Poli has insisted that he is only concentrating on keeping his Sampdoria side in Serie A.
The Italian international, who spent last season on loan at Inter, is understood to be on the transfer radar of Juventus and Milan.
“I’m not thinking about the transfer market,” stated the 23-year-old midfielder. “I’m just focused on doing well here.”
Doria are climbing the table after collecting 11 points from the last 15 available under new boss Delio Rossi.
“We still can’t really look at the League table,” Poli said of the side who are now tenth in the standings. “We have to take things one game at a time.
“It’s not up to me to judge what happened in the past,” he added. “We certainly work differently under Rossi than we did with Ciro Ferrara.
“Results are arriving and we hope they continue to arrive. We want to keep going on the road that we have now taken.”
Doria entertain Parma next weekend.
