The agent of Modibo Diakite has revealed that Napoli are not the only Italian club keen on the Lazio stopper.
The Azzurri were considered to be in pole position for the defender who will be available on a free transfer when his contract ends in the summer.
“I’ll meet with Napoli, as I will with other clubs who are interested in Diakite,” Ulisse Savini told La Lazio Siamo Noi.
“Napoli is a fascinating environment and their interest makes us proud. Let us just wait and see what happens.
“In Italy, though, there is a surprise side who hadn’t made a move up until this moment. I think I’ll meet with these clubs by the end of next week.”
The French defender, who has played in just one Coppa Italia tie this season, has also been paired with Juventus and Genoa.
