Roma ultras held a protest at the club's training ground on Sunday and managed to meet Francesco Totti for clear-the-air talks.
The fans are known to be unhappy after back-to-back defeats to Inter and Napoli.
Roma currently lie seventh in Serie A, 13 points adrift of League leaders Milan.
La Gazzetta dello Sport understands the ultras wrote slogans such as "unworthy" on the walls at Trigoria.
Five members of the group gained access to the premises and spent a few minutes talking to Totti.
"You are the only one worthy to wear the shirt," they said. "Work more. Run more."
Totti apparently reassured the ultras ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash with Shakhtar Donetsk.
