Real Madrid could be prepared to swap Fabio Coentrao in order to sign Edinson Cavani from Napoli, according to reports.
Il Mattino believe that the Spanish side are desperate to sign the Uruguayan striker, but do not want to fork out the €63m required for his signature.
They are however, willing to lose one of their promising players, and will propose a swap deal with the Partenopei – exchanging Coentrao for Cavani, plus an unreported sum.
The 26-year-old goalscorer is one of the hottest properties in Europe and has been linked with a host of top clubs, including Los Blancos and Manchester City.
