Manolo Gabbiadini says he’s undoubtedly improved as a player thanks to the opportunity given to him by Bologna this season.
The Italian Under-21 international, co-owned by Atalanta and Juventus, joined the Stadio Dall’Ara outfit on loan in the summer.
“If you don’t get to play football then it is difficult to grow as a player,” the centre-forward noted.
“I may be playing in a slightly different role this season, but I’ve done well and it is something that will be useful with time.
“Having the opportunity to be fielded in the same team as great players such as Alberto Gilardino allows you to improve a lot.”
Gabbiadini, who was mainly used as a substitute in Bergamo last term, has scored five goals in 23 League games so far this season.
Juventus tried to take him back to Turin in January, but both Bologna and the player opted to continue their relationship.
