Palermo have confirmed that Giuseppe Sannino has been named as their new boss following the departure of Gian Piero Gasperini.
Sannino began the campaign on the Rosanero bench, but was replaced by Gasperini after collecting just one point from his first three League games in charge.
Gasperini himself was then axed in February in favour of Alberto Malesani before being recalled 19 days later.
However, after the 2-1 home defeat to fellow strugglers Siena at the weekend, Sannino has now been asked to save the club from the drop.
With 10 games to go, the Rosanero are five points adrift of safety.
