Udinese’s Dusan Basta has welcomed reports which suggest he could be targeted by Roma at the end of the season.
“I know of the stories and they are really pleasing,” the 28-year-old told the Corriere dello Sport on Tuesday.
“To know that a great club like Roma have been thinking about me is something that makes me very proud.
“We’ll have to see in June whether I will be changing clubs, but I’d walk to Roma if necessary.”
The right-back, who can also play in a more advanced midfield role, is a Serbian international.
