Leonardo has rejected claims that Inter's title challenge is "dead" after Sunday's defeat to Juventus in the Derby d'Italia.
Inter lost 1-0 but arguably should have equalised in the 89th minute when Samuel Eto'o hit the bar from just a few yards out.
Speaking ahead of Inter's midweek clash with Fiorentina, Leonardo said: "The game in Turin was balanced. Criticising Eto'o is out of this world. I won't make a drama out of it.
"Sure we wanted to win and didn't manage to do so, but to say that we're 'dead' from here onwards…
"The President is right [that we have to try and win the Scudetto].
"It's still all open. No one can say that they have won it. I am counting on a team that plays well and today Inter are the best team in the world.
"I won't make a drama out of it."
