Gigi Buffon insists winning the Derby d'Italia proved Juventus have potential and “realistically we can target fourth place.”
The Bianconeri beat Inter 1-0 on Sunday evening, but remain in sixth place.
“We won a very difficult game,” said the goalkeeper on his official website.
“Overcoming a team that won everything last year and has not weakened itself this season is an important result that makes us reflect on our potential.
“I think Juventus could've gone for different objectives if we had not been the victim of so many injuries.
“Today, with a great sense of realism, we have to target fourth place aware that it is within our reach.
“I am particularly happy for the fans after the Derby d'Italia victory. They always supported us during these months and deserve to experience joyful emotions like Sunday night.”
