Marco Benassi is happy to be learning his trade with the Inter first team squad, but has admitted he doesn’t know where he’ll be playing next season.
“I never would have expected to remain with the first team after the pre-season training camp,” the 18-year-old told Sport Mediaset.
“I'll always be grateful to boss Andrea Stramaccioni and the club for the chance they have given me. I'm happy here and it’s great for my growth as a player.
“All my teammates have helped me in my development, though obviously no one's got as much experience as Javier Zanetti and Esteban Cambiasso.
“At the moment I'm just focused on doing as well as I possibly can. Then, in July, I'll sit down with the club and we'll decide what to do next season.”
The Primavera player has appeared in two League matches, two Coppa Italia ties and four Europa League encounters so far this season.
