The agent of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Lucas Moura has claimed that the 20-year-old was on the verge of joining Inter.
The Brazil international signed for the Ligue 1 club in January from Sao Paulo, but his representative has revealed that the Nerazzurri almost bagged the playmaker instead.
“Inter were really close to buying Lucas,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “The boy had accepted the Inter project.
“The only small detail they had to accommodate was that Lucas wanted to stay in Brazil until January.
“PSG were the only team that offered this possibility – so he decided to sign with the French team.”
