Inter continue to be frustrated with the work of director Marco Branca, so reports now suggest they’re looking at ex-Fiorentina transfer guru Pantaleo Corvino.
President Massimo Moratti has publicly expressed doubts over the transfer strategy this season, particularly with regards to the way the Wesley Sneijder situation was handled and the lack of cover for Diego Milito.
Branca is widely expected to leave San Siro at the end of the current campaign.
According to the Corriere Fiorentino newspaper, the new favourite for the Inter job is Corvino.
He was the director of sport at Fiorentina, but parted company with the club over the summer and has since rejected several different offers.
Corvino was most famous for his work at Lecce, where he discovered the likes of Fabrizio Miccoli and Mirko Vucinic.
