Domenico Di Carlo blasted his Sampdoria players after the defeat to rivals Genoa. “It is not possible to play like this in a derby. I'm extremely angry.”
The Blucerchiati fell 1-0 to Rafinha's wonder strike, but had been under pressure throughout with the woodwork rescuing them twice.
“It is not possible to play like this in a derby,” slammed Coach Di Carlo.
“I am extremely angry. Tomorrow I will talk to the players, as we cannot gift 55 minutes to our opponents.
“It irritated me that before taking the lead, Genoa were playing better than us. There is no justification for it.
“We only started playing football the way we know how after going behind, but by that stage it was too late.”
