Torino are adamant that new Italian international Alessio Cerci will still be wearing their shirt next season.
The 25-year-old joined the Granata in the summer after a co-ownership deal was done with Fiorentina.
But there may be some transfer interest in the winger at the end of the campaign for the player who last week made his international debut against Brazil.
“We are happy that one of our players is in the national side,” director general Antonio Comi told Sky Sport Italia.
“We are happy for him and for the club that Cerci, with the help of President Urbano Cairo, has reached his Azzurri objective.
“His future? He’ll stay here with us and that is for sure.”
Cerci may win his second cap this evening as Italy face Malta in a World Cup qualifier.
