Napoli sensation Lorenzo Insigne is putting all thoughts about World Cup 2014 to one side until this season has come to an end.
The 21-year-old won his first full international cap in September, but he’s been returned to the Under-21 set-up since.
“Lorenzo is one of the leaders of the U-21 side,” agent Antonio Ottaiano told Radio Kiss Kiss. “A team which will be going for the European title in June.
“It is obvious that all players dream about taking part in a World Cup, but, for now, Lorenzo is just concentrating on the Euro U-21 Championship and the end of this season with Napoli.”
Insigne returned to parent club Napoli in the summer after spells out on loan at Cavese, Foggia and Pescara.
The wide attacker has scored four goals in 29 League appearances this season.
