Stefano Colantuono is ignoring suggestions that he could replace Walter Mazzarri at Napoli in the summer. “I’m an Atalantino!”
Mazzarri’s future at the Stadio San Paolo is in doubt and Colantuono has been named as a possible replacement.
“I’ve already distanced myself from these reports in the past,” the former Palermo tactician told Sky Sport Italia on Wednesday.
“It’s only normal that certain rumours are heard when you do well, but Napoli have a good Coach right now…
“I’m an Atalantino and I’m not leaving this club. I’m happy in Bergamo and that is why I extended my contract.”
Colantuono, in his second stint with Atalanta, recently put pen to paper on a new agreement until June 2016.
