Udinese have confirmed that they are in talks with Novara about signing talented teenager Bruno Fernandes.
The 18-year-old joined the Serie B club from Boavista in the summer and he has caught the eye of a number of top-flight sides.
“There is a negotiation, that is true,” Udinese sporting director Fabrizio Larini told TMW on Tuesday morning.
“We have spoken with Novara and we will continue to speak. We hope to do a deal as soon as possible.
“The formula of the transfer? We are looking to sign him on a co-ownership deal.”
The Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the Stadio Friuli outfit have offered €2.5m for a half-share in the player.
