Alessandro Matri has admitted that he is 'very excited' ahead of their Champions League quarter-final with Bayern Munich.
The Bianconeri face the Bundeliga leaders in Germany this evening, and the 28-year-old has insisted that it will be a 'great game'.
“Everyone wants to play in a game like this one,” he told Topmercato. “We are very excited to be tackling on the Europe's best teams.
“Bayern are having a great season, but we will try and get a good result away from home.
“They have some amazing players like Ribery, Robben and Muller, but if we are prepared tactically, we can have our say.
“I think it will be a great game.”
