Fenerbahce Coach Aykut Kocaman believes the Europa League quarter-final with Lazio “will be breathless to the last minute of the final match.”
The teams play the first leg in Istanbul on Thursday evening, kicking off at 20.05 UK time (19.05 GMT).
“This is a two-leg situation and tomorrow we'll be conscious that we'll have to go into the second match with an advantage,” Kocaman said in a Press conference.
“Lazio are one of the leading teams in Italian football. They’re a strong team with some great players, like Miroslav Klose, and I believe this quarter-final contest will be breathless to the last minute of the final match.
“We're always saying that our power comes from our supporters. When they support our players positively, especially when the things are going wrong, it will give us strength.”
Lazio are the only unbeaten side still in the Europa League and the top scorers of the competition too.
“We're facing very strong and a valuable team, but it is more important to focus on putting in a good performance than worry about opponents quality.”
