Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic is wanted by Europe’s top clubs, but fellow Bosnian Edin Dzeko reveals he “advised him to join Manchester City.”
Pjanic turned 23 this week and has attracted interest from the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, PSG and Chelsea.
“I would not be surprised if Pjanic came to City and in fact I really hope he does. If he arrives here, then I certainly wouldn’t leave,” Dzeko told sport.ba.
“I have already advised him to join us at Manchester City. One time Roberto Mancini asked me if he was Bosnian and I said ‘Of course!’”
Pjanic arrived from Lyon in 2011 for around €11m and is fluent in six languages, including English.
