Teenager Paulo Dybala will remain with Palermo next season, club President Maurizio Zamparini has stated.
The futures of a number of players in Sicily are in doubt given the possibility of the club’s relegation to Serie B.
However, Zamparini has underlined that the 19-year-old Argentine forward will not be sold at the end of the campaign.
“Dybala is staying here,” he noted. “He is a youngster and he fits in with the kind of project that I have in mind for the club.”
The Rosanero are in the relegation zone, but they have won their last two games against Roma and Sampdoria.
Palermo entertain Bologna in Serie A this weekend.
