The agent of Erik Lamela has rejected talk that his presence in Italy is to get his client a new contract at Roma.
“I’ll be at San Siro tonight for the game and I’ll be leaving tomorrow,” Pablo Sabbag told insideroma.com ahead of the Giallorossi’s Coppa Italia semi-final second leg tie at Inter.
“I haven’t met Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini and I don’t know if I will meet up with him in the near future.
“At this moment in time, the first contract that we signed until June 2016 is still in place.”
The Argentine youngster, 21, currently earns around €1.2m a season after tax. He has scored 14 goals in 27 League games this season.
