Ezequiel Lavezzi admits that he’s been left impressed with the talents of Paris Saint-Germain teammate Marco Verratti.
In an interview with the club’s website, the former Napoli player has hailed the ability of the Italian international.
“Marco Verratti has surprised me the most,” the Argentine forward said of the €12m summer signing from Pescara.
“He has an enormous potential and has been a very useful player for the club and the team.
“He improves each and every day and he still has a long way that he can go. I really hope he keeps progressing and helping the team.”
Playmaker Verratti, 20, was linked with Juventus and Napoli last summer, but neither club would meet Pescara’s asking price.
