Amauri remains convinced about the strength of his Parma side despite their recent struggles in Serie A.
The Gialloblu have only won twice in the second half of the season and they haven’t scored in their last three games.
“The team remains strong and united, if we win or lose,” the Brazilian-born Italian international commented.
“It is proving itself as a solid group in the difficult moments. We know we have to get out of this, as we did in that eight match winless streak.
“We need to improve in certain aspects as a squad. We need to stay calm and serious because we still have five matches in which we have to do our best.”
Parma, who will entertain Lazio this weekend, have been beaten by Udinese and then Inter in their last two games.
“We deserved to lose against Udinese. Against Inter, we stayed on the same level, but we unfortunately left with a defeat in a game that we would have been angered to draw 0-0.
“Obviously we need to score, otherwise you don’t win in football.”
The Stadio Tardini outfit are joint eleventh thanks to 39 points from their 33 games so far this term.
