Mattia De Sciglio has praised Massimiliano Allegri, insisting the Milan Coach helped the team 'overcome a difficult time'.
The Rossoneri are currently third in the table, one point ahead of Fiorentina going into this weekend's match against Torino.
And the young defender has insisted that the boss has been a huge help this season, whilst also commenting on last Sunday's win over Catania.
“We want to hold this position in the table so we can get into the Champions League,” he told Milan News.
“We must not think about Fiorentina – we can only focus on ourselves and try to keep on winning in order to maintain third place.
“In the first half against Catania we did very well, but just didn't manage to score.
“In the second half perhaps we were a bit too hasty, but luckily we managed to come back and win.
“If we are in this position [in the League] it is because of Allegri.
“After a complicated start to the season he held the group together and helped us overcome a difficult time.”
