The agent of Marco Amelia doesn’t expect to be negotiating a transfer from Milan to Roma for his client this summer.
The 31-year-old’s future at San Siro is in doubt and the Roman has been paired with a possible switch to his hometown club.
“It all depends on the Giallorossi directors,” Carlo Pallavicino told Roma News. “It takes two to get married and it is up to them whether they want him or not.
“There has been no contact with Roma and, in the past, we gathered that there wasn’t the conditions in place for a move to happen.
“I have to be honest, as it stands right now, I don’t see any chance for the future either.”
Amelia, 31, grew up in Roma’s youth ranks but never made a professional appearance for the Olimpico outfit.
