Maurizio Zamparini insists he’ll construct a competitive Palermo after they put one foot into Serie B last night.
The Sicilian giants are four points away from safety and they only have two games left to save themselves.
“The side gave it their all, there is nothing much more to say about yesterday’s defeat,” the President told Palermo News after the 3-2 reverse to Udinese.
“We scored two goals, the problem was that we conceded three. Nevertheless, we’ll build a great Palermo to start again.
“That will certainly include myself, boss Giuseppe Sannino and director Giorgio Perinetti. I’m already spending the morning working on the Palermo of the future.”
Palermo will finish with games against Fiorentina and Parma.
Genoa, four points clear, face Inter and Bologna. While Torino, five points away, have ties against Chievo and Catania.
