Juventus are awarded the Scudetto trophy today and Beppe Marotta confirms he has now “talked with Antonio Conte about the new signings.”
The Bianconeri transfer guru always said he would keep discussions over strategy until the end of the season, but the club has now achieved its objective by mathematically securing the title.
“Today we are witnessing the apotheosis of a wonderful campaign,” said Marotta before the game with Cagliari.
“We have talked with Conte over what will be the new signings. Our objective is to improve, as we want to be protagonists in Europe too.”
Among the names circulated in the media today are Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Gonzalo Higuain and Stevan Jovetic.
“It is just fantasy football. I want to compliment the players in our squad now, as they have achieved great things.”
