Martin Montoya is set to sign a new contract at Barcelona, but Inter are still keen on netting him for the 2013-14 campaign.
The Italian giants, as well as Liverpool and Real Betis, have been linked with the player given his contract situation in Spain.
Montoya’s current deal is set to expire in 2014, but the Nou Camp outfit are ready to extend before the summer.
Nevertheless, Inter are still keen on the 22-year-old and are ready to make a loan offer once Montoya puts pen to paper on fresh terms at Barca.
Montoya is a defender who can play in the middle or on the flank.
