Andrea Pirlo believes that Paris Saint-Germain youngster Marco Verratti is the future of the Italian National Team.
The 20-year-old midfielder joined the French champions from Pescara at the start of the season, and has gone on to star in their League-winning campaign.
And the veteran Juve playmaker has insisted that his international teammate has real quality, whilst also commenting on his future.
“There have been stories running over the past few days about my future, but I am happy here,” he told Radio Capital.
“We have come from two League titles and that makes me happy.
“I want to continue winning with Juventus.
“I really like Verratti. I think he is the future of the National Team.
“I really like the way he plays.”
