Fiorentina have claimed that Roma striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo is not a summer transfer target for the club.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a return to Florence after a problematic season in the capital, despite scoring 16 goals in 29 League games.
“Osvaldo is not an objective of ours,” Viola sporting director Daniele Prade noted. “Anyhow, any question about the transfer market is premature right now…”
Osvaldo, an Argentine-born Italian international, has a Serie A past with Atalanta, Lecce, Fiorentina and Bologna.
The Stadio Artemio Franchi outfit may be looking for a new forward given that Stevan Jovetic could be sold this summer.
