Italian international Domenico Criscito could take a pay cut to help his move from Zenit to Fiorentina go through.
The 26-year-old defender has another three years to go on his contract in St Petersburg and earns around €3m per season.
According to La Repubblica, Criscito has been alerted to interest from Fiorentina and would be prepared to lower his wages.
This is not the first time that he has been linked with a return to Serie A, as Criscito was also a target for Juventus, Napoli and Genoa.
