Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Julio Cesar has insisted he wants to stay in England, despite rumours of interest from Roma.
The capital club have been linked with a move for the shot-stopper this summer, but the Brazil international has claimed he is happy in west London and is putting his focused into the Confederations Cup.
“I do not know what my future holds,” he told Corriere dello Sport. “It is too early to talk about that.
“I am just thinking about Brazil, and then we'll see what happens.
“Roma are interested, yes. But London is a beautiful city.
“I want to stay in England because the football has impressed me a lot.
“But like I say, I don't know what's going to happen.”
The former Inter man then commented on the Nerazzurri's disappointing season.
“It is difficult to know what to say because I have seen very little of them this year.
“Of course, it was a negative season for Inter, but I don't really want to comment.
“I just feel sorry for the fans and for Stramaccioni, who is a very good Coach. He is very capable.”
