Fiorentina patron Diego Della Valle has labelled Exor CEO Johan Elkann ‘a kid, unaware that the world has changed’.
The head of Exor, the company that owns Juventus, yesterday commented on the Biaconeri’s recent success and their ambitions for the future.
La Viola’s co-owner Della Valle was left less than impressed, though.
“Having a particular surname does not mean you have the strength to do great things,” the 59-year-old told La7 this week.
“We need to acknowledge all the guys who can do good but who cannot find work at the moment.
“John is anything but a phenomenon, yet he has a job and a certain importance.
“He is just a kid and he does not understand that the world has changed.”
