Sampdoria have confirmed that Juventus and Napoli are interested in Serie B revelation Simone Zaza.
The 21-year-old will return to Doria this summer after scoring 18 goals on loan for Ascoli in the last campaign.
However, his future is unclear given that his contract at Marassi expires in June 2014 and he’s turned down the offer of an extension.
“We need to understand the desire of the player, even if we will make the final decision,” sporting director Carlo Osti told Sport Italia.
“Napoli are interested in him, as are Juventus – those are the clubs who want him the most at this point in time.”
Reports suggest that Juventus want to sign the forward and then send him out on loan for 2013-14 – possibly allowing him to stay at the Stadio Ferraris.
