Gianluigi Buffon is already looking to next season with Juventus. “I’d like to win the trophy I haven’t won yet...”
The goalkeeper has had a remarkable career, lifting the World Cup, several Scudetti, the Coppa Italia, four Italian Super Cups, the UEFA Cup and European Under-21 Championship.
However, the Champions League has always remained out of reach.
“What do I dream of winning? The important thing is that my teammates and I do our best to find success,” said Buffon at a media event.
“Obviously I’d like to win the trophy I haven’t won yet...”
The Bianconeri reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League this season, but were knocked out by eventual winners Bayern Munich.
The Turin giants are active on the transfer market with strong links to both Gonzalo Higuain (Real Madrid) and Carlos Tevez (Manchester City).
“I have no preferences between those two, as I have faith in the club. Whoever does arrive will be a great player who’ll allow us to improve further.”
