Josip Ilicic wants a move to Fiorentina, but relegated Palermo have warned that he will cost €15m.
The Slovenian international midfielder is expected to be sold this summer, but the Rosanero insist he won’t be given away.
“Nothing has been decided yet and you need three parties to reach an agreement,” Palermo director Giorgio Perinetti told Sport Italia.
“The player has always made it clear that he would favour a move to Fiorentina, because he really likes the way they play football.
“He has great potential, even if he can be a little inconsistent,” the former Siena official added. “We’re asking for €15m.”
The 25-year-old, also paired with Napoli and Roma, has recently started to be linked with a possible move to Juventus.
“Juventus haven’t asked us for Josip,” Perinetti continued. “Even if he could be important in a 4-3-3 if they play that way next season.”
