Newly-promoted Hellas Verona have bought midfielder Massimo Donati from Palermo.
The Bentegodi side announced the deal this evening, which is pending a medical.
It is reported Donati will put pen to paper on a two-year contract this weekend.
The 32-year-old midfielder had been transformed into a centre-back this season at Palermo, unable to prevent their relegation.
He has had a well-travelled career that includes Atalanta, Parma, Milan, Torino, Celtic and Bari.
Hellas Verona also confirmed they bought out Palermo’s 50 per cent of midfielder Oscar Arzamendia and striker Cesar Verdun.
