New Roma boss Rudi Garcia has claimed he will do everything he can to keep Daniele De Rossi at the club.
The midfielder has been linked with moves away from Stadio Olimpico in the past, and admitted recently that he sometimes gets frustrated in the capital .
But the French Coach has revealed that he is desperate to hold on to the Italy international, whilst also admitting his intentions in the transfer market.
“I will work hard to keep De Rossi,” he told reports in his home country. “We will also have to work hard on the defensive side of the game.
“Last season Roma conceded far too many goals.
“[Former club] Lille have some great players, so hopefully I can try to take some with me.
“I am working with Sabatini – we want to improve the squad and retain our best players.”
