Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon believes Gigi Del Neri should be allowed to stay at the club until the end of the season.
Del Neri's job is apparently on the line following back-to-back defeats against Lecce and Bologna left Juventus in seventh place.
"He should stay in place at least until June," Buffon said. "The project at the start of the year was to give him full trust. It's right that he stays until the end of the season.
"The judgments will only be made at that point, and it's not up to certain players to decide what to do.
"The Coach must be helped on the pitch - with facts.
"Everyone must do their own job, that which they get paid for.
"Anyway I repeat, all the players have respect for Del Neri. Up until the victory against Inter we were talking about a great season," he concluded.
