Ajaccio Coach Fabrizio Ravanelli has revealed that Luca Toni is unlikely to join the French club, as he's bound for Verona.
The Fiorentina striker is out of contract at the end of this month, and reports in the French Press have claimed that the veteran forward would join his countryman in Corsica.
But the tactician has admitted that that is looking increasingly unlikely.
“Toni? For the moment we will have to wait and see,” he told RMC. “I think that Luca is probably too expensive for us.
“But above all, there is a good chance he is going to Verona.
“We are a small club so we have to choose players that we are 110 per cent sure will join.”
