Porto are expected to buy Pescara’s Colombian talent Juan Fernando Quintero for €10m plus bonuses.
The creative midfielder is currently in action at the Under-20 World Cup and over the past few months had been linked with Inter, Juventus, Fiorentina, Real Madrid and more.
Still only 20, he suffered from a series of injuries after the Under-20 South American tournament in January and managed a total 17 Serie A appearances for Pescara.
Unable to help the Delfini escape relegation, he does appear ready to aid their financial situation with a big money sale.
Pescara signed him from Atletico Nacional in July 2012 on loan with an option to buy for €3.5m, which they have activated.
Now strong reports from Portugal and Italy suggest Porto have agreed to snap up Quintero for €10m plus a further €3m in performance-related bonuses.
