Sampdoria sent Federico Piovaccari to Steaua Bucharest and Parma bought Sporting Lisbon’s Pedro Mendes, among other moves.
Samp have officially loaned striker Piovaccari to Romanian club Steaua Bucharest after his recent spells at Novara and Grosseto.
Udinese renewed their loan of Andrea Lazzari from Fiorentina for another season.
Parma sold Obiorah Nwankwo to Romanian club Cluj and sold half of Ishak Belfodil to Inter.
The Ducali also brought in three newcomers. Soufiane Bidaoui was a free transfer after his contract with Lierse expired, while Club Atletico Cerro’s 20-year-old Uruguayan striker Gonzalo Mastriani and Sporting Lisbon’s 22-year-old defender Pedro Mendes also arrived.
Mendes has been out on loan to Servette, Real Madrid B and Real Madrid. He represented Portugal at Under-21 level.
Parma also bought the remaining 50 per cent of Marco Parolo’s contract from Cesena.
